Project Profile: The Phoenix Dream Center

RPC News

RP Companies is proud to join Solar Thermal Solutions in bringing green energy to The Phoenix Dream Center.

The Phoenix Dream Center is a volunteer, nonprofit 501c organization that has served homeless, low-income, struggling individuals and families since 2006.

Pastor Dwaine Moss, Director and operator of The Phoenix Dream Center says the center currently serves over 40,000 people in need monthly.  They provide resources, opportunities, and support services to help them realize their dream of living a self-sufficient life.

General Contracting Services

RP Companies, the general contractor for The Dream Center, has started construction on an 88,320-watt solar electric array covering the entire roof of the Dream Center building. This project uses the latest technology from Brightleaf Power which will also include an integral piping system with storage tanks for the hot water needs of the center.

Solar Energy Electrical Construction

RP Companies, Mike Reed and his experienced team will oversee the electrical construction of solar energy systems. The green power generated from the solar panels and heated water will substantially reduce the power bill for The Phoenix Dream Center. Reduced power consumption means The Phoenix Dream Center which runs on 100% donations, can redirect funds from operating overhead to doing what they do best, helping people in need rebuild their lives.

A Special Thanks to all those Contributing!

This project could not have been possible without the help of Perry Pauley and Solar Thermal Solutions who purchased the green energy system from Brightleaf Power.  RP Companies Directors, Koal Hirschi, Dale Fry, and Brad Fry believe it is a privilege for their company’s expertise (A-General, Electrical, and Engineering) to help substantially make a difference in rebuilding people’s lives.  RP Companies would also like to thank all subcontractors and suppliers who donated their services to The Dream Centers’ modernization and constant facility improvements.
